Life In Andalucia, Spain In The 1930’s: In Andalucia, Spain during the 1930’s it was a very bad place. It was a very harsh place to live in because of the sweltering heat, and it was by far one of the most underdeveloped places in Spain. The only thing that people did was farm, they planted wheat and olives. Much of the land in spain, was owned by the Catholic Church and absentee landlords. A very interesting thing was that in the 1930’s in Andalucia, Spain every family had to have had a pig. The Spanish Civil War really left a mark on Andalucia, Spain.
